You both will love the Avante 18! I have a TL18LS...and love my machine! Do join the Avante yahoo group...tons of support from other users there.

Wonderful gift!!! I have the Avante and absolutely LOVE it!!!! There's a Avante forum on Yahoo.com. It's rather slow, but it's there if you have problems. Congratulations!!!!!
