    good idea tovary the patterns of the blocks. i will try it this way next time. i love doing these. yours turned out well.

    No, I didn't have a pattern. I saw a video of someone sewing strips together on 45 angle. Then she started just going around the main center piece. It was fun and I used up some scraps. Most of my strips were cut at 2" strips. I quilted it as I went along, it is so much easier. I wasn't satisfied with the way the back of the sq. looked, so I went over the seams with decorative stitches. Ready to start more squares...
