    I forgot to add, that the idea for drawing the block out in real size and laying tracing paper over it to pencil in quilting designs before laying a stitch to the quilt came from Lisa Calle's DVD "Divide and Design". She uses this method with quilts with a lot of open background that needs to be filled in. She amazes me with what she can do!
