I like the shadow effect of the pinks between the dark blues.

That's a VERY cute quilt. I LOVE IT and the color choices. I love the way the stars turned out too.

Don't start out by being hard on yourself! Your quilt is lovely, and the colors are great. That sashing is great. Who says triangles have to be all one size? The only time that becomes important is for contests. Every time I stop obsessing (and that's a GOOD thing), I let myself make them 'different' sizes.
