    The red on the back is a paisley design. I was going to use just that. But it hurt my eyes too much. LOL. I tried the spray basting for the first time. I think I should've tried it on a small quilt first. The back shifted on me so it wan't quite straight. Actually had to add a bit to the bottom right. I added the blue to blue to it wouldn't be as noticeable. I put the label (not pictured) over it. Not sure if it brings attention to it or detracts from it. I usually do baby or lap quilts, this is the second large one I have done. The other was a log cabin but in the barn raising configuration. Now to find the next UFO to finish!

    Lovely! Did you prewash/preshrink the flannel? I'd love to back a quilt with flannel but wondering how many times to wash/dry flannel before trusting it to not keep on shrinking once it's on a quilt back, even supposedly better quality flannel??
