    I love roosters and I love roses. I think it is a great first accomplishment and you should definitely be proud of your work. I think we all learn something new with each project so keep up the good work. You are off to a great start.

    Welcome from Michigan! You did a wonderful job. I try to remember a little sentiment a dear friend told me - if it were perfect it wouldn't be hand made! I've been quilting for a couple of years now and hoping someday I will quilt more relaxed and be more pleased with my finished projects. I gave up on knitting but I refuse to give up on quilting.
