No. I. Did not prewash the flannel,never prewash any fabric anymore.

I use flannel all the time for my quilt backs, be sure to wash first its does shink and also it will pull away from your thread and make a tear. I have found that out after a few washings. thankfully it was small and I was able to applique over it.

Very pretty, didn't the lines in the fabric drive you nuts? I had a bad experience trying to make some blocks with a line pattern and now I avoid them at all costs.
