    Arlajo, that's the way I do my sandwich. Have also pinned backing to wall, using spray for batting and top. If the top is lap sized or under, works very well for me.

    Thank you for all your advice and ideas. I knew you guys would come through. I spread out the quilt on the ping pong table top, clamped it down and did 1/2 the quilt at a time, working from the middle to the end. Seems to look OK. We will see as I start quilting.
