    I cut my strip about 1 3/4" so I can have fudge room when the blocks get a bit wonky. I trim down to 1.5"

    I needed to make a quick quilt to get to the quilter for Christmas. I used 3.5" strips. I used only 3 colors of each (blue and green with a deep red center) and I was really surprised at how much I liked it. I prefer 1.5" or 2" strips. Necessity is the mother of inventing.
