Sandygirl---- One of my jobs was selling jewelry, so I know where to buy. I love colored stones too. My favs are Russian Chrome Diopside, Ammolite, Eithiopian Opals and Morganite. (All of which I own and most set). I also buy my settings a steal of a deal prices in 14 k and dia. it's also a hobby for me. I also got some nice larimar, I bought two neclaces, one I strung on pearls ( I have a lot of pearls, buy them right and affordable)Also even have an emerald with diamonds on a pearl enhancer. I'm just nuts over gems. I also collect sand from all over the world. it's kinds the same thing, but the stones are bigger.

I try not to buy little chatzkeys (sp?) anymore because that makes me UNhappy! I can smile at the funny magnet in the store, but I can kick myself when I get home if I actually bought one. ( I have too much little stuff and remember cleaning out my grandmothers house of all that STUFF!) I generally lean toward -if not fabric - food!

I am kinda like quiltmom04 above; sometimes I walk around my house (not a blank wall or table in this place) and think to myself "I bet my kids are dreading the day they have to clean out this house." My favorite thing to wish for is a Cadillac and my birthday is coming up (our most recent purchase was a Ford Expedition that I have trouble getting in and out of, 5'2" or less now) and I am sure loving the Cadillac commercials on the Olympics right now. I holler at DH to "come watch this" every time they run one.

I buy for myself very, very often. I don't have a price range limit. It depends on how much I feel like spending at the time.

Hubby took me to Lowe's yesterday and I went straight to clearance bin..picked out two mushroom stake (painted ceramic) & upon paying for it at counter, found out on sale for .50 each!! I was so jumping for joy, he laughed at me and later after picking up GCs from bus stop...said to go back for more, which I did but none left to find!!
But I always find something for everybody else...I get happy this way!

I am happiest when I am buying for my family and friends. If I buy for myself it is something I need. I buy for my crafts and painting or something for my home. My joy is buying fabric and that is what I spend way to much on.

I am going to Walmart to buy a heart shaped cake pan to try a recipe I saw in one of the new magazines. This has to be done before choir practice because I want to get home in time to see Duck Dynasty! That pan will make my day! froggyintexas
