    I think it's U-nique not U-gly! You never know what some one else's tastes are until you work with them. I believe it turned out great and as long as she's happy isn't that what matters.

    Not ugly at all. Maybe out of your comfort perspective but very interesting. If the recipient loves it, it is a real winner. The goal in making quilts for others is to please them and it looks like you have a perfect score on this one.

    yes sir it is ugly, but learn and keep right on quilting. That first quilt was pretty.

    I said before and I will say again I don't think there is an ugly quilt it is just a different interpretation of fabric. I like yours a lot.
