My avatar is similar to it. I was looking for a pattern for Valentine's Day and found one at Quilter's Cache online. I changed it a little by adding the sashing and cornerstones.

What a beautiful quilt! You really don't need a pattern. Decide what size you want the individual blocks to be, cut some paper to be sure that's the right size and then cut a heart shape that will fit into your background block. Since the background blocks seem to be made of two coordinating fabrics, sew them together and then cut your blocks to size. Then cut your hearts, being sure to allow for the seam allowance in the center. I'll bet you can find dozens of flower patterns online--or you might make small Dresden plate flowers with stems. Jenny Doan has a tutorial about Dresden flowers and stems that could be adapted to a quilt border. Let us see what you come up with. froggyintexas

I've read and seen these blocks as dual image and flip flop blocks. First place I looked was my Dual Image Applique book by Dilys Fronks-its not in there. Would this be the Hearts at Play pattern? It is very similar. Can you trace the picture?

Being a lazy person myself, I would applique two hearts (one each of the contrasting fabric.) Then I would cut them in half and sew together. Seems the easiest way although you end up with four hearts (two each.)

I tried to follow your instructions but am very challenged. After right clicking, what then? Thank you
