Greenwork embroidery quilt

Very pretty...love the look of embroidery and envy people who can do this.
Another thing on my " things to do/learn". Looked at the website...I saw three that I would love to do.
Question: should I buy them and let them sit in my closet or wait till I learn to do it....hmmmm?!!!!
I have a question for you (and please do NOT take this the wrong way), was this hand sewn or machine sewn?
I ask because I have seen the machines that do embroidery (I think) but they are too expensive for me!

You very seldom see green work so this was a treat!! I've done red work and blue work before but have never done the green. I have a green quilt on the bed in a spare room....so maybe a pillow for the chair. Thanks for the idea!!
