    That guitar is just so great. Glad you hung with the strings ....He is going to love this.
    I'll put my un-requested 2 cents in and say that if i were doing it, i would put the guitar in the center of the quilt.... but definitely at an angle...not straight up and down or side to side.

    The guitar came out spectacular!! If you didn't want to center the guitar, would the placement of the bed in the room allow for the guitar to be centered in the bottom 1/3 of the quilt? If so I think it would look great near the foot of the bed or part of it slightly hanging off the foot of the bed.

    I think that this is an ideal layout solution. It would give a great look to the quilt.
