I really like how you turned 4? fabrics into something so interesting. And all I saw was a really neat Christmas quilt-no mistakes. We really are our own worst enemies when it comes to judging our work. That's why I love this board.

It looks absolutely perfect to me!!!

And I think I'm going to copy your idea, and do one too!!! I've got some Christmas fabric, and will just have to squeeze it in between birthday quilts!
Yours truly came out beautifully!!! :D :D

Thanks for all your wonderful comments.

Sharon, I had no pattern and pretty much no clue when I started. I wanted to get it on the fall block swap so I bought Christmas fabric to practice on because it was pretty. I picked out an easy looking block (Mr. Roosevelt's necktie) and started sewing. That went pretty well so I started picking any 12.5 inch block that looked do-able. When it was done, I realized I really didn't have a clue how to quilt it. I saw a Fun and Done video at Bayside quilting and decided to try to turn my traditional pieced blocks into Fun and Done blocks. And there you have it. My Christmas practice quilt. :)

Lisa, I bet you are a closet quilter. Have you been quilting for many many years? You need to change your board name. you are no longer a wanna be.

    Your quilt is very pretty.

lisa, that is such a happy little, Christmasy quilt.
I just found out, that a whole bunch of stuff I had copied...had disappeared, bc I ran Norton, while two folders were open in task bar.
    Norton will restart your pc...
And now your quilt has me smiling again :D
