Welcome to the board! I just want to say, charm squares come in all sizes, it wasn't until Moda started marketing theirs that people thought they had to be 5". The name came from charm quilts, where you would try to have all different fabrics and would ask your friends for their scraps. Maybe you had to charm them out of their fabric, who knows?

Welcome!!! You will love this board and spend (not waste) a lot of time here. Seems I learn something every day. My latest this is "honey bun" which I think is a 1 1/2 inch pre-cut roll. Someone correct me if that is wrong.

Welcome from Central Illinois. This forum is a wealth of information and so many experts will chime in and help with any question or problem you have. I have my morning tea with all you gals/guys and am always amazed at the new information and tips I gather.

Welcome from Wisconsin. When I was new I also did not understand all the terms. This is a great place to get that info. One word of caution - when buying precuts, buy name brands. Some of them are not cut to size like the package says, so they could be a bit smaller. And a lot of the charms have pinked edges so be sure to measure and sew with that in mind.
