That is a very interesting pattern. I haven't seen it before. You have done a great job.

Thanks, everyone, for the kind words. I know that when I post a quilt in progress, I'm going to get a push from all of you to get it finished! I hope I can keep working on this one. First I have to find something for the backing. It was fun to sew this one.

    Default Sweet Tea with Honey

Here is a pix of my quilt top, that was inspired by this post! Thanks again for posting your lovely blocks. Just had to try it! I was out of solid white fabric so used a pale/soft yellow (honey) for the background. The yellow doesn't show up much in the picture. I used 2 blocks of each solid color and all the prints are different. All the fabrics were from my stash. I made 24 blocks and its 60" x 64" and I'm going to just bind it. What a fun block! Now I'm using that block to make some Christmas placemats.

I love the Moda's Authentic fabric you used for this one. It made it so interesting to stare at.

Yours came out sweet too jan. Did you girls use jelly rolls?

Thanks. No, I just cut 2 1/2 inch strips from different pieces of stash fabric.

Oh but it sure would be perfect pattern for using up the jellyrolls. Good to remember. I have a few of those I need to use up.

Jan, that's wonderful! My goodness, you are fast! It is a pretty easy block to make and creates a neat look. I'm glad I could inspire you. Now you have to give me a nudge to get mine done! First I have to find a backing for it. Isn't it nice to be able to use your stash like that?
