    I wonder if you were able to contact Barbara Brackmann (sp?) - quilt historian - if she would be able to ID it for you. It is such a neat pattern.

    yes, it is an interesting block. I measured it just now. 10" I will have to try to draft it out for a pattern. Might have been a one off kind of block that the quilter designed herself/himself. Anyhow....I really like it. Thanks for the comments and research that has been done. This forum is the greatest. Which means that you all are great

    What a great quilt! I have been saving men's ties to make a quilt and this block would be perfect for it. If you draft a pattern, would you please share. Thank you.
