I may end up with one of these Kenmore Model 86's this week. A friend of my DW gifted me her grandmother's Domestic treadle (1920 - a copy of Singer's 128 (?) and the same machine as Sears' Franklin treadle, as she was cleaning out her mother's attic. I am very delighted with just that one! She wanted also to gift me her mother's Kenmore Model 86, but her husband had asked his secretary if she wanted it. As of this past weekend, he had not gotten a reply from the secretary, so maybe yes - maybe no for me. I really like vintage Kenmores from the mid-50's to the the early 80's.
