From the description, the seller has a collection of things like this. We may see them someday on "My Strange Addiction" on TLC.

"I have a personal collection of various flannel textiles which have been salvaged from old drapery panels, portieres, coats, etc. This is one of my favorites and its lovely and unique/hard-to-find shade."

Wow! you guys peaked my interest so I went to take a look. Interesting, looks as if she found an old trunk with rotting clothes in it and took salvaged pieces to try to make money. The age of the pieces is what she is so proud of. One problem though, most of it is from 1950 to current time. Someone will fall for the story and purchase a piece of history! NOT ME!

I scrolled down to near bottom of page and saw a few more "antique" fabric offerings. The one I really smiled at was the Mexican scraps offering. Ladies, we are waiting time sewing scraps, let's sell them!!

I would use it to cover plants before a frost.

Although I love ebay (I both buy and sell on it), there are lots of idiots out there. Did you see the listings from some Disney Beauty and The Beast VHS tapes for $10,000 and more????

It's either cotton flannel or chamois, it can't be both. If it is chamois, I think you can still get it stores selling auto supplies. It's been a long time since I've bought a piece since I don't wash my car myself.
