    If nothing else works, try putting bed risers under the feet of the banquet table. We did this at church and we liked it so well that we left them for church suppers. ( A clever friend then measured the height and filled gallon cans with concrete and leveled them off. This gave us steadier tables.) We have used them for 12 years now.

    I have wanted one of those expensive tables with rollers to take to retreats. Couldn't afford it. Went to garage sale and bought one very similar for $5.00. Thought I was in heaven.
