    I've been collecting florals for doing a log cabin like this, and other "watercolor" type quilts. It's been fun picking out fabric that is suitable.

    Got lucky last year stopping at Marshells in AR - I think I picked up 20 different fabrics that will work.

    I love florals and you have some beauties! What wonderful way to use them. I really like the idea of a runner with this design and think a bed-size quilt would also be outstanding done this way.

    How will you expand them? How big would your log cabin squares be for a runner?
    Please post again as you expand them.
