Yikes, that would have scared the stew out of me, too. I'd never trust a window again.

We have screens on the smaller windows that open... but this is happening at a big picture window.

So far the wild quilt top I have taped up in the window seems to be doing the trick. I'll leave it up another day and hopefully the bird will have moved on to somebody else's windows by then.
