I just love 9 patches in an Irish Chain. Love your gray polka dots. Not a fan of gray at all, but your quilt is very nice.

Dot fabrics are my absolute favorite to use in quilts and look great in your 9 patches. Please share the giraffe fabric name if you know the name. I am making a baby quilt and was looking for backing fabric with giraffes. Thank you!
Hi Copycat - I am sorry but I don't know the name of the fabric but here is the link from Joann's:

I hope that helps!! ~smile~

Thanks! I'm not a huge fan of gray either . . . and not for a baby . . . but it's what Mom-to-be wants so that's what we made. I like either the nice bright colors, or the pale yellow or green. Maybe for the next baby! ~smile~

Adorable!! Gray does seem to be the new "white" the last couple of years. Both my Granddaughters quilts are predominantly Gray. And, they are 2 and 1 year. I am a huge fan of 9-patches. It is just darling!! I backed both of my Granddaughter's quilts in flannel also. Nice and cuddly. Congrats on becoming an Auntie!

Oh, so cute!!! If baby doesn't want it, I do! (No worries though, they will love it!)
