I went to a quilt show last weekend and one of the vendors had made
some tube blocks with four colors instead of 3. The square came out
bigger of course. I've been playing with the tube sewing and its so
fun and quick. Now I'm gonna try it with four colors.

Aren't these tube strips so much fun? You can get such variety from a relatively simple method.............I am in the process of an over-sized king size bed quilt using this method for my daughter and her husband, and it is such FUN to put together!

Actually the strip tubes go really fast.....all of the strips are cut and I have 14 of the tubes sewn and cut into squares, with another 1/4 of the tubes sewn. Just started about 2 weeks ago, but I still work full time, so I only (less cuttng time) have about 5-6 hours in the sewing............it really goes FAST.........will upload some pics further down the road.
