    Nancy - I really appreciate the cutting PDF. Now to pull fabric and put this project on the top of the list. I'll share when finished. Barb

    I see eight Boston Blocks. Four small and four large. There are four HST in the middle. The rest is just squares.

    I would find a good way to make the Boston Blocks. (Not Rhonda's way, sorry.) We draw lines from corner to corner both ways on the background square; lay RST onto colored fabric, and sew 1/4 in. to the left side of the line just to the center. At the center switch to the right side of the line and continue to the corner. Now do the line in the other direction the same way. Cut on the drawn line and you have four quarter square triangles with the light and dark on the same sides. Add these to a triangle and you have a Boston Block.

    Quilt Nan,

    Thank you for sharing the PDF of the block's cutting directions. I see that some of the measurements include 3/16ths. What is your recommendation for accurately cutting this measurement if the rotary ruler is only marked off in 1/8th increments?
