I can blame it on DH, who has to buy every gadget he sees, and then doesn't even remember that he bought it, no?

I think that's pretty nifty! I usually tear the skin using a spoon. We eat a lot of Kiwis. I think I have seen these at the fruit stand but never paid any attention to what it really was.
