    That is stunning. I really like the way you did the anchor. Your color choices and placement just gives so much dimension to the quilt. I know your son will love his gift from you.

    What a co-incidence! I'm just about to start the very same quilt! Mine is going to a retired Navy Chief of 20 years from his loving wife. ( she's commissioned me to make it for her) Thanks for the lovely picture of yours for inspiration! You did a wonderful job on it!

    I think there is a distinct possibility you may see a grown man tear up just a bit on Christmas morning when this beauty is unfurled. I especially love your background choices of blue and white only the white has sand dollars on it. What a wonderful gift for your son.
