    Thank you for all the lovely comments I did think that if I ever made one again (!) I would just use 2 fabrics, I think that would show up the pattern better. I like the blues I used but I think it would have looked better with just one shade of yellow. For those who are thinking of making it, in the book the instructions for some of the blocks are a bit 'challenging' and as maths is not my best subject I got my husband to decipher the instructions, made a pattern out of paper and then measured that - far far easier!

    Beautiful quilt. Love your fabric colors. The yellow sure seems to pop against the darker fabric and shows up so wonderful.
