What a beautiful wedding gift this will be! The bride and groom will treasure this work of art.

Thank you all! When the groom guessed that I'd made a quilt for them, he was excited, and I understand that the bride is very happy with it, too. I did what I've done for several other wedding quilts: used the wedding colors as my guide. Her bridesmaids wore maroon and white and the wedding invitation was black with gold and fall colors. The top is actually a 9-patch pattern, and I did some intentional layout of the colors within the 9-patches. Pretty early on in my quilting experience, the local guild had a guest speaker who did some purposeful designs on the back of her quilts, especially using leftover fabric from the top. I don't always do it (more work!), but I'm glad to know it worked out well with quilting on my mid-arm.

Wonderful autumn colours, feeling very warm and snug. Lovely that it matches the wedding colours.

Very nice quilt. I love the front and back. That looks like a really big quilt.

I think the finished size is about 68" x 80"
