Hmmm…I wonder if this thread could just be approved and moved to the Challenges? How do you message patricej to ask permission?

I think you can just address a Private Message to patricej, explain that a thread was started here, and ask that the thread be moved to challenges.

Are you able to do that please?

I would prefer not to make the request, since I will not be able to participate and don't feel that I would be a very good host for that reason.

Okay, I will try and see how I do, thanks.

I am cutting my constants but not sure if I should post them here or wait to see if our thread gets moved to the challenge area? I did request a transfer with a pm to patricej, but I don’t know for sure if this is the right way to do it?

thimblebug6000, I don't think there is any need to wait to post in this thread; I think when a thread is moved, all of the posts are moved with it.

Ok so I've done these before too, and I also have a hard time choosing fabric. Completely scrappy? Controlled scrappy? My best one was the red white and blue one that was controlled scrappy. It actually turned out really nice, I added a center medallion and changed it up a bit. I'm thinking of using up a FQ bundle for this one and just use what's in the bundle. Decisions decisions ;-) Hugs all!

Okay I chose the patterned fabric as my borders, even though it may not read as a medium, and then tried to stick with fall type scraps. The pale green will be the sashing and the dark green the setting squares.
