    They look great!

And I don't think they're late for Christmas, they're done early for next Christmas :)

Fantastic!!! I LOVE the plaid on the back of your quilt!! And the angels are so sweet.....it would be a very slow process for me to do!! The quilting on the runner, is that feathers? Very pretty!

I also love the pieced back. I've never done that. There's some psychological flaw that I have that won't let me, but I love how it looks in your pic. Thanks for posting.
Fabric-holic, yes I did this on my simple Janome 423S sewing machine. I used a technique that my sister taught me. I made the design about 11 inches then I copied it onto my printer until I had enough copies to do the whole border. Then I cut out the border design into single border strips, tacked the design to the quilt using masking tape. Then I sewed directly over the design using my embroidery foot and feed dogs down, FMQ. Then you carefully rip the paper off and you have your design. Simple technique that works great. Did the same for the snowflakes on the squares.
    Thank you for the compliments.

Beautiful Penny! I love your FMQ - that's a technique that I first heard about from sandpat and I can't wait to try it myself! Hugs x
