I have a wooden rack with 8 slats in it that my brother-in-law made me. I am a new quilter, and at first I couldn't figure out why I might want a rack for my rulers, but I love it. It sits at the back of my "computer desk" that I sew at, and the ruler sort of lean against the wall. It keeps them all out of the way and still easy to get at.

If money is no problem, then you really must get some of these: http://usaus.us/cart/ruler-template-...ions-c-10.html

I have a flat wooden holder/sorter that sits on my sewing table. Think it's about 6-18 with slits. I keep the rulers I use most often right there. 6*24, 4*4, 6*6, 15*15, 9*9. "Speciality rulers store on two huge "o" rings I hang in a closet.

I gave my hubby a picture of a ruler holder and he went to the shop and cut several out for me. He's pretty handy, I guess I will keep him.

I saw one - probably on one of the blogs I read - that was made from fabric - she designed & sewed it herself - it had pockets sized to fit her rulers and the whole thing was hung on a door.
