This is the most wonderful cake. I just made one last sat for my aunt whom turned 86. My husbands sister used to make one for him every year for his bday. Now I do as she has passed on. I just make a what I call a drizzle frosting for it out of powdered sugar, milk, tsp butter softened. and mix and drizzle over. No certain amounts, just start with 1 cup powdered sugar , add butter then milk to the consistency needed. If u want add a half tsp vanilla.

Better to give them to the dog, cat, or birds. If you don't use them for health reasons, doesn't make much sense to use them up in a cake or pie, then eat that.

When I make scrambled eggs, usually only once a week, I use 5 eggs for the two of us, but remove 2 or 3 of the yolks. They go out to the cat.

There are recipes that call for lots of egg yolks.
