Great job on the quilting. And, the block is gorgeous. I agree, hang it on the wall with pride. The thing about FM quilting, tho, is that it's addicting (at least for me)!!

I'd look for a piece of blue ribbon and pin it on that block. "Best First Try by Me" category!!

That is beautiful!!! You should be extremely proud. Show it off proudly. The best way to learn is by doing. And you can only improve with practice.

lol yes it is and thats exactly why I don't post as often as I used to, afterall I have to get some sewing done some time...lol

Your first try you say---GREAT JOB!!! As others have said keep it out, let it encourage you to keep doing it, it'll only get better with each one you do. Thanks for posting the picture it's great encouragement for other people trying things for a first time.
