    He/she is guarding your rulers, if someone breaks in at least your rulers won't be taken. I have an orange and white cat that lays on the counter in the sewing/cat room and creaks his head against the rulers, I know they are safe too.

    And I thought I was going to get some ideas to store my rulers...lol. I have 3 of those delightful furry things but none of them look after my rulers like that...lol
