Last year though the weather was so bad and icey the nursing home where 2 daughters and my mother work they had to rent half a local motel in town to make sure the staff had a way to and from work to take care of the residents. Those with 4 wheel drives volunteered to transport those that were either riders or weren't used to driving in the stuff. :|Everyone in the weather zone stay safe!! :thumbup:

I saw that first picture and a smile spread across my face. I love snow - I love when it's snowing (it's so quiet). Good thing too - I live in New Hampshire. This is my favorite season of the year. Many people say 'Oh you must be buried in the winter!", but I think you folks in the west and midwest have some of the worst blizzards going, usually worse that we do.
There is nothing more peaceful than quilting at your machine in a warm cozy house while the snow falls outside your window.
