What do YOU call your unfinished projects?
#22
P.I.G.S. Projects in grocery sacks. Our guild has a PIGS project every year. In the fall we bring an item we plan to finish by quilt show the following year. Pictures of the projects are taken. Then the meeting before quilt show everyone brings things back, If you finish you get a sheet of paper with your picture on and it says something about Yes I finished my Pigs. and if you didn't you pay a fat quarter and get the picture on a paper that says something like OH NO OH NO My pigs are not done. The people who finish get their name in for the drawing of fat quarters that the ones who do not finish pay in. Lots of fun and good incentive to actually finish.

Oh no, gran of 6. Send them to me. I will finish them for charity quilts. Goodwill sometimes throws them in the scrap pile to sell to rag pickers in a bundle. At least this way, they will get done and used by someone who will appreciate them.

I don't call my unfinished things anything, but this reminds me of the time my mother was in the hospital. There was a sign above her bed of HOH and I wondered what that meant, well my daughter asked what it stood for, hard of hearing!!
