LOL! Self made a wonderful decision! You're never too old! My brother decided I should learn to golf (so I could golf with him!) at age 70...and golfing is a bit more strenuous than quilting! Go for it! By the way...would love to see pics of the quilt tops you inherited.

another one from northern california welcomes you. would love to see pictures of your quilts. what a wonderful gift. you are a very lucky person. I inherieted three finished from a great great aunt and one unfinished top from my great grandmother. my grandmother gave it to me to put a back on and quilt but have been afraid to tackle it. Is there a problem using modern quilt fabric with the old? This one is around sixty years old. What did you use to finish yours?
