    I agree, once living in the Turtle Mtn's of ND, 8" is nothing to the 2' plus we could get. And now that I am on the "plains of the dakota's", it didn't really change, I look out our dining room doors and see atleast 2' of accumulated snow, and that's what hasn't "blown" away.

    Wow, don't know how I would handle 2' of the white stuff. My husband and I were shoveling it yesterday for 2 hours (he's 74 and I'm 65)....getting too old for this.

    We need to get together. There is no one in my area that quilts. I'm really glad I found this quilting board or I wouldn't have compatible conversation with anyone. Woe is me, think I'll eat a frog!

    Oh my goodness! Colin's Grammy, your photo with the ruler in the snow gave me a shock. I have one that looks exactly like that from here in Jefferson, GA. I thought you had my photo there for a minute :)
