Been there with you.
Love the tattoo idea!

I'd have to put it next to the other one I need that is simply:
"SIS" = Save It Stupid" for remembering to save all my hard work on the computer.

That's like the don't forget to add the extra 1/2 inch for seam allowances rule. My DH keeps reminding me and I still forget to do it. I think it happens because there is so much creativity going on in a quilter's brain that there isn't room left for the basics. :)

I've done it too. It's happened when sewing long strips for me, not when sewing little pieces together.

I've done the exact same thing! That's when I quit for the day, obviously my brain had done so already.

We've all been there with those whimper kinds of moments.

I put a top together once and looked at it at least 100 times as I got all the pieces in the right positions. Put it together with back and batting, flipped it right side out, ironed out the wrinkles from the turning

THEN saw I'd sewn 1 little square the wrong way and couldn't leave it cuz threw the whole pattern off. And of course it had to be near the middle! Very carefully snipped the piece out and fixed.

Been there Done that! Makes you fee foolish doesn't it? If someone is around when I make that crazy mistake I keep it to my self. Buttt if I am alone I fling it across the room seems to help.
