Why am I the One?

Now when I hear something like this, its sad , but , I automatically think .... Drugs....... parent(s) so strung out they haven't even missed her yet. Oh! How it makes my heart ache. .Makes me sick to think of the what ifs  Thank goodness you were placed there to rescue her. Hope this has a fairy tale ending for you and her.

Last night the sheriff's dept. and children's protection services located the little girls father. Since she couldn't talk I just wonder if the agencies have had former dealings with these people and someone recognized her? I guess I will probably never know. I found one toddler on a busy San Diego freeway in the early 70's and then found another one on a busy highway near our Oregon state capitol in the early 90's. Both of those children had walked out of the house while the parents were still asleep and I know things like that happen frequently. I know for sure that wasn't the case yesterday with that precious little girl. I certainly will never forget that smile on her face and her beautiful curly hair. I wish I could find out just how she got where she was and why. Probably best I don't know the rest of the story as I would be tempted to go slap the *&$) out of whoever had her!

Maybe the parents shouldn't be found, obviously they're not looking for their child and don't care. I would be going crazy if I didn't know where my kids were! Sounds like this baby needs an adopted family that actually wants a child!
