I am happy to report that I am finally putting the center together after a few years work...I only have one border piece finished so... Might take a bit longer, but don't give up! It has been a real learning experience but a joyous one. Promise to post pix soon

I followed the link, then searched the site for "Little Brown Bird" and it took me to http://forum.apqs.com/index.php?/top...Bbrown+%2Bbird and then I clicked on the thumbnails and it was gorgeous.

I made my quilt larger than the actual size in the pattern, big enough to fit a super king sized bed.
Changing the corners somewhat extending the branches and placing more birds there.

WOW - well done! That is truly amazing. This is the kind of pattern that I look at, but immediately dismiss because I would never finish it; I can't say how impressed I am with your dedication. It's beautiful. Amazing work!

I decided I would never make this quilt and sold my book to a member of the board. I love hand applique but I'm still working on "My Cats Garden" from 14 years ago.

Wow, wow, wow! Awesome quilt! Way more than I could ever make. Congrats to those of you who have tackled this quilt and can't wait to see pictures of the finished quilts. Wow!
