My partner kittyannart has received the doll quilt I made and sent - I had troubles with my machine and it needed repairs before I could finish - sorry it was late.

And I LOVE it!! Just got home from work and my hubs had it laying on the counter for me to open! It is so awesome, thank you thank you thank you - beautiful sewing!! While Kristine's machine was out of commission so was one of my fingers! I smashed my right hand index finger while moving some furniture, thought it was just bruised but a few days later I decided to go to the local MedCare and found I'd torn a tendon & had a surface fracture to the bone below the first joint! Geez, I really know how to smash a finger. I had gotten as far as cutting the binding for the DQ before the finger incident, so I am very late on sending my DQ. I got the the splint off two days ago and I am hoping to make progress this weekend!

I have not yet received but I told omacookie to take her time. I really am
not in a rush. I KNOW how hard it is to lose a parent (in my case both of
    them in 57 days apart).

I MAINLY just want Charlene to take the time she NEEDS without having
to rush to complete my dq.

Charlene I HOPE you are doing better.

Many QUILTY HUGS to you (and everyone on in the swap).

    Louise

Default Meeeeeow - boooooo - eeeeeek

Spooktacular Greetings fellow quilters - I received the nicest spooky doll quilt in the mail last Thursday or Friday; I've been super busy with other life commitments that this is the first chance I had to post a photo; Thank you kittyannart for such a wonderful doll quilt - it's perfect for our house at Halloween. Ani also included a fun stretchy bracelet and a candy-corn jar block which has given me inspiration for other food fabrics out there. Thanks again Ani - it's a great doll quilt and thank you for the pattern lead.
