abonda - I LOVE it! Thank you for being willing to take on the challenge for the end result is very striking. I'm very excited about this top, because I've always wanted a top with lots of contrast and love how black does that.

Oh Barbara I'm so glad you approve! I wasn't sure. The girls gave me some really good advice on the background color! Thanks my wonderful group of ladies!! I really love it myself. Can't wait till the next round.

Okay, it's feedback time. I'm undecided whether to wind some ribbon around on the bottom three borders. Since I'll be in town this weekend, I can shop for some to match but kind of like the simple look. Opinions?

Now that I see it, that is a tough call. It is beautiful both ways. I'll have to think about it for a while.Okay, I like it better without the ribbon. JMHO

i have to say, i prefer the ribbon!
my pc showed me the picture of the top with the ribbon first. when i scrolled down to see the 'without' pic, i felt it had been 'robbed'.
i think you have a beautiful idea going here! juts lovely!!
