Kassandra your La Pass is beautiful
We have had a strange winter also. A few big snow falls, a couple weeks of very cold weather and last week we had a thunderstorm that pretty much washed all the snow away. The weather folks are predicting 54 for the high tomorrow. If we hit 54 it will beat a record from 1864. Good grief this is Minnesota, we should have a ton of snow and be freezing our hind ends off

Sure, Joan, that's ok. Just so you and everyone else knows, I usually go online and print each envelope label with postage from the USPS website. It now costs $6.80 each and I use my charge card for those who have sent cash. It's actually easier for me than using stamps since the post office always makes us go over every stamped envelope and count the postage. One or two stamps is ok, but when I get an envelope with 10 or 12 different stamps on it, it gets a bit silly and time consuming. FYI, the post office usually does NOT carry those padded envelopes so I order them from USPS.com as well. They are free. Anyone can order them. In fact, I've got to check my stock to make sure I have enough!
So, as long as postage has come up, please recall that members are responsible for all their own postage. When you send me your F8's and again when you send me the completed blocks you will have made, please enclose EITHER $6.80 in cash or in $6.80 in stamps. (Again, the cash is easier but you call it.) I will use that money/stamps to send packages back to you. If by any chance you do not send enough, I will NOT ship to you until you make up the difference. There's gas money to and from the post office twice, my time, the labels, the ink, wear and tear on the printer, etc., and I absorb those costs. Therefore, I do expect everyone to send enough to cover your own postage. $6.80 each time I ship to you. Please be sure to send the correct amount. Thanks. And, I DO NOT TAKE CHECKS! I've had a few and it just becomes a nuisance because I generally misplace them for weeks on end. Cash or stamps only please! THank you!!!

Janice I went to post office yesterday and asked about the $6.80 postage for the padded envelope. They said they didn't have any envelopes...
I told them that's ok I have 10 of them...The PO only has a $6.45 cent stamp so I added another 49 cent stamp to it and will send the stamped envelope to you along with the fabric if that's ok??
Didn't know how much of a hassle it is for you to have to stamp all return envelopes??
