    I just found this video and thought it would be cool to make and also would be cool for Christmas ornaments for the center pattern and stuff it, what do you think? this is a video by Kaye Wood

    I love all these ideas also and have been "taking notes" for some of the sites and suggestions. I have a pattern I found for placemats and napkins in the June/July issue of Quilt magazine. They are using printed fruit fabric but I bought some Christmas fabric to make mine. Pattern seems simple enough with a back like a pillow and no binding.

    Used flannel shirt. Stitch up the arm holes and the bottom. And you have a lap top protector.
