Quilting Bee: One Block/Month Swap (Please see message from MadeinMaine on page 201)

Wow, these blocks are just gorgeous. I have 3 or 4 of Carol Doaks books but I don't think that is one of them, I will have to check it is a beautiful star and I want to work on my paper piecing skills.
I absolutely love the butterfly and floral block that is so pretty and I have a thing about butterflies.
Goldendog your embroidery is exquisite. When I was in Washington I loved the rhododendrons, they are so pretty.
I see a bunch of lovely quilts in the future.

This is the block for my June partner Deb Watkins (she isn't able to post pictures right now). Her Theme is “creme, dark brown and olive - please, will be used for my gazebo in the woods that has elephants and palm fronds as accents”. The center is handstitched reverse applique.
I think we should all meet at her gazebo for an afternoon tea party!

All of my blocks are so great. I think it is a wonderful idea to have a tea party at the gazebo.

Wow, MadeinMaine! Looks like you could do a tutorial on reverse applique! What a wonderful job on the block.
So many wonderful blocks to see here.

Fabulous blocks being posted by everyone.
And yes - can you keep the tea hot until I get there.
I'll be as quick as I can and I'll bring cake.
