Reading these posts I was just thinking the same Gail, how small the world is made by this quilting board (& the internet in general). I would love to attend the get together, but unable to afford at the time. I live in the Adelaide Hills. Was born in Melbourne, my Mother's family are mostly in Victoria, have lots of rellies there. Hope you all have a great day, xx Jen

I have just arrived home (4.30 pm.) DH, DD and I tramped around the Quilt Convention for hours fondling fabric (and spending some money also) after meeting up with the girls for breakfast/morning tea.

It was great to put faces to names and have bit of a chat.

Gday, I also had a great day, ended up in Williamstown after our gathering with alexisj. She told me of a Quilting shop over there that she hadn't been into and i offered her a lift there, so we checked out the shop. Was a nice little shop, could of spent heaps of $'s in there, but had to restrain myself. :( I have got pics of our morning, they aren't great, but hopefully, there will be more coming. :)
