    Oh, Izy--it is even more exquisite with the borders!! You really framed your work of art well. Your Mum is going to love this quilt. The beautiful colors will really brightened her dreary winter days. Hope you can get a pic of her when she opens her package so we can all see her reaction.

    Oh thank you so much Marcia...I have really enjoyed making this top, its only my third and I have learnt so much from everyone here!! :D

    I can't wait to get cracking on the quilting next, I am going to use the remainder of the border fabrics for the backing and I have a lovely soft baby pink for the binding. I might even put this in the exhibition we are holding in October.....we will see how well the quilting turns out first :roll:

    Izy- tell your mom that the quilt comes with loads of hugs from all your friends on the board. That will warm her up :):)
